Florin Bratu, without an official match as head coach of Romania U21
Both sides mutually agreed to stop cooperation. This decision was made after Florin Bratu did not have time to mark a single official match as coach of Romania.
At the age of 42, Bratu was appointed in August 2021 and since then he has collected 8 training matches (two wins, two draws and four losses).
Florin Bratu’s reaction after leaving the Romanian U21 national team
“I am happy because I had the honor to represent Romania again. It is very difficult to put into words the emotions and energy you feel when you sing the Romanian national anthem.
I had a wonderful trip and experience that I will always be proud of. I thank the players for the way they responded to the challenge and for the way we worked together.
We have an extraordinary generation with great potential that I believe will successfully represent us in the final tournament. I thank the fans, they are the most important engine of the national teams and I am glad that I felt their warmth and support in every game.
And last but not least, I want to thank the staff for the cooperation and energy they have given to the national team” – Florin Bratu.
FRF Technical Director Mihai Stoykice said he would forward the proposal to President Rezvan Burlean. This will take place after consultations within the framework of the Technical Commission.
