Today, Friday, the Acropolis Museum will celebrate the August full moon with Greek moon songs, film scores and famous foreign tunes, performed by the historical Air Force band in the courtyard at 21:00. The museum will be open until midnight, and from 21:00 admission will be free.
The performance “As above, so below” is presented by the choreographer Apostoli Papadamakis at the archaeological site of the Kaveri sanctuary in Lemnos. Artists Savina Giannatu and Maria Papageorgiou, actor Thanasis Efthimiadis and six professional dancers are participating.
Mozart’s opera “The Marriage of Figaro” is presented by the Lyric Theater of Crete tomorrow, Saturday, August 13, at the Garden Theater of Manos Hatsidakis. Start time: 21:00 Free entrance.
“Helena” by Euripides, a large summer production of the State Theater of Northern Greece, translated by Pantelis Boukalas and directed by Vassilis Papavasiliou, is presented at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus today and tomorrow, Saturday, August 13, at 21:30.
