It’s in progress Fire which occurred for an unknown reason in a forested area in the Vasiliki region of the municipality of Sparta, in Laconia.

There are 50 firefighters on site with three teams of pedestrians and thirteen vehicles, while four fire planes and a helicopter are spraying water.

Self-propelled vehicles also support the work of fire brigades.

According to the fire department, there are no reports of a threat to any residential area yet.
