Introducing various taxes for the private sector, including those who work part-time, the Government has prepared a project that increases the salaries of state employees.

According to the GEO project, employees of public institutions and authorities assigned to project teams financed by non-repayable European funds benefit from an increase in basic salary, residual salary/salary, allowances up to 50%, regardless of the number of projects in which he participates. This increase is applied in proportion to the actual time allocated to the activity for each project.

Also civil servants from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Development, Ministry of Investments and European Projects, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Transport, National Health Insurance House and their subordinate institutions, civil servants from the Presidential Administration, General Secretariat of the Government, Ministry of Justice , as well as parliamentary civil servants from the services of the Parliament enjoy a 15% increase in the basic salary due to the complexity of the work.

Civil servants from decentralized public services of institutions subordinated, coordinated or subordinated to the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Labour, as well as in regional and county statistics offices, due to the complexity of their work, benefit from a 15% increase in the basic salary.

In the preamble of the GEO project, the event is motivated by the economic situation caused by the COVID-19 crisis, the increase in energy prices, as well as the war in Ukraine.
