
Four foreigners arrested and charged in a bloody robbery committed early last Sunday morning in the countryside of the village of Mikrodasos have been taken into custody. Kilkisin which a 23-year-old man of Pakistani origin was killed and two of his compatriots were injured.
A group of Pakistanis – four in all – were walking on foot when a group of ten foreigners attacked them with wooden clubs and physical violence with the intent to rob them, police said. A 23-year-old man fell dead from the blows, and two other youths were injured and taken to Kilkis Hospital.
The criminals seized 200 euros and a mobile phone. Four of them were located and arrested within the next 24 hours. These are three men from Afghanistan and one from Syria (respectively 20, 23, 36 and 18 years old). According to information, they were identified by the victims and brought to the prosecutor’s office on charges – as it became known – of murder, robbery, banditry, causing bodily harm, illegal possession of weapons and use of weapons.
They apologized to the investigator Kilkis and, with the consent of the prosecutor, went to prison.
