Tesla Model S Plaid price: the Germans better watch out!

In France, the Tesla Model S Plaid and Model X Plaid prices seem quite competitive. There is a sedan available from €138,990, and an SUV with 141,990 euros. The amount, of course. But the competition, now mostly German, is no better. The Porsche Taycan Turbo S starts at €193,061, the Mercedes EQS 53 AMG starts at €169,850 and the BMW iX M60 starts at €141,800. All this, except for the options that are often abundant in these manufacturers, but very limited in Tesla.

Recall, Tesla Model S Plaid, restyled and redesigned version the manufacturer’s flagship, powerful with 1020 hp, 600 km of WLTP autonomy and absurd acceleration for 2.1 s from 0 to 100 km/h. The two models, which are already available to order, will be delivered to France between November and December 2022.

But if you don’t feel like you’ve mastered the performance of the Plaid models, or just don’t see the need for them, know that the “classic” facelifted Model S and Model X with two engines, you can still pre-order them. Delivery is scheduled for early 2023. Performance will, of course, be down compared to the Plaid models, but remains impressive, with a claimed 0-100km/h time of 3.2s for the Model S and 3.9s for the Model X, all with slightly longer range. .
