Since 1972, his participation in the DOL began, first as a journalist, and then as a political editor of the newspaper Ta Nea.

Since the autumn of 1983, he took over as director of the To Vima newspaper. In September 2001, he assumed the duties of General Director, and since September 2003 – Managing Director and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. US dollars

In 2009, he took over the reins of the Lambrakis Foundation (formerly the Lambrakis Research Foundation) and DOL, a position he took up after the death of Christos Lambrakis in 2009. In the same year, he himself took over the publication of both Vimas and Neo. . Left the group in 2017.

Meanwhile, in 1996, he was appointed governor of Mount Athos by the Simitis government, a position he held until 2001.

On June 20, 2010, the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople awarded him for his contribution during the period when he was the vicar of Mount Athos in the position of Grand Notary of the Ecumenical Throne.

In addition to being a journalist and publisher, he was also the author of five books.

Born in 1945, married twice. From his first marriage he had two sons, Panagiotis and Andreas, who followed in his father’s footsteps in journalism. He had two daughters from his second marriage.
